El Paraiso
When it comes to finding that dream home, there are many places to choose from on the Costa del Sol. With a unique mountain backdrop and the crystal blue Mediterranean in front of you, a stunning climate almost the whole year through, good transport connections and within easy reach of the international airport of Malaga, it is no wonder that demand for property remains high.
The biggest problem that most buyers encounter is where the prefer to purchase. Many have a pre-conceived idea that it has to be frontline beach, only to end up a few minutes’ drive from the coast. Others are determined to be inland away from the crowds and fall in love with a beachside home. The fact of the matter is that there is something to suit all budgets and tastes in property.
If you are a regular visitor then you may well have already decided, based upon experience where you would prefer to buy a home. If not, then we would like to introduce you to a beautiful part of western Costa del Sol called El Paraiso.
Property in El Paraiso varies from apartments with fantastic views to detached villas with private gardens and pools. It actually sits within two municipalities Benahavis and Estepona, both of which have seen a surge in interest.
Over the last few years, it has become a very sought after for buyers as it is quieter than some of the coastal resorts but within a very short drive of the nearest beaches, supermarkets and restaurants. In fact, the late singer Prince owned a villa in El Paraiso as he fell in love with the area on a visit.
Not all properties have to be in the price range of that though, there are some very attractive complexes in El Paraiso with apartments for sale at very reasonable prices. Villas can vary greatly in size and price and the higher up you get in El Paraiso (know has Paraiso Heights or Paraiso Alto), some of these properties can become substantial.
